Play a key role in shaping the future of electronics engineering. Part of the Renesas Group, we are seeking an Octopart Product Marketing Manager focusing principally on our engineering users to strengthen our story for electronics engineers, hardware designers, and technical innovators across the industry.
As Octopart broadens its impact and elevates engineering productivity, this role is designed for someone skilled at crafting technical narratives, translating technical benefits, and connecting deeply with engineering audiences. The Octopart Product Marketing Manager will play a strategic and hands‑on role influencing product direction, go-to-market strategies, and campaign execution—driven by firsthand insights into the challenges, needs, and aspirations of engineering professionals.

As a Product Marketing Manager focused on engineering, you will define and communicate the technical and business value of Altium’s solutions for engineering teams, hardware designers, and R&D leaders. You’ll collaborate across Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to ensure our platforms address the most pressing challenges of electronics engineering and are positioned for maximum velocity in technical adoption.
Engineering‑Focused Storytelling & Narrative Development- Create engaging stories that explain complicated technical features—such as advanced PCB design, simulation, and hardware collaboration—in a way that shows real benefits for electrical engineers, design engineers, and system architects.
- Define messaging for workflow efficiency, innovation enablement, error reduction, and integration of engineering tools.
- Lead the creation of engineering‑focused content (technical presentations, webinars, white papers, technical guides, benchmarking comparisons, and competitive battle cards against EDA platforms).
- Partner with Brand and Content teams to deliver campaigns for engineering conferences, technical workshops, university outreach, and design contests.
- Act as the voice of engineers—bringing insights on design productivity, workflow pain points, tool interoperability, and next‑gen technologies into product development.
- Work closely with Product Management to steer roadmap decisions that address engineering bottlenecks, technical feature demands, and integration with other design/manufacturing tools.
