Job Role of the Field Service Engineer

As a Field Service Engineer, you will cover from Nottingham to Luton.
Areas covered include:

Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, Warwickshire, Northamptonshire, Rutland, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Worcestershire, Staffordshire

You will be responsible for:

Installation, commissioning, and operator training on supplied equipment

Fault diagnosis, service, and repair of machinery both on-site and at HQ
Electrical and hydraulic system maintenance
Machine refurbishment to high standards
Slinging, lifting, and safe handling of heavy equipment
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Preparing digital service reports
Communicating with customers on-site and collaborating with internal team
Sector – Industrial Environment

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Field Service Engineer

Mechanical maintenance experience within an industrial environment.
Hands on experience with pre-planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance
Requirements for the Field Service Engineer

Strong mechanical fault-finding skills.
Welding experience
Experience working within a manufacturing environment.
Experience working within the UK Manufacturing sector
Driving License

Desirable Requirements for the Field Service Engineer

Recycling/Waste, FMCG, or Forces Background
FLT / Forklift License
The Field Service Engineer will benefit from:

Door to door pay with potential OTE around £60K
Base salary 42K-44K.
Company van and fuel card for business use
PPE and tools provided
