Full-time, Permanent My client, a leading manufacturer in industrial printing technology, is looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to support the development of advanced, high-performance systems. This role focuses on designing, testing, and implementing electrical components within complex industrial machinery.

Key Responsibilities Design electrical systems including control panels, power distribution, and communication interfaces Produce schematics and wiring diagrams using CAD software Select and specify electrical components (sensors, relays, power supplies, etc.) Support system integration, testing, and troubleshooting Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards (CE, UL, IEC) Collaborate with mechanical, software, and production teams Support production builds and continuous product improvement Requirements Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline 5 years experience in electrical design Proficiency with CAD tools (e.g. AutoCAD) Strong knowledge of power systems, motor control, and PLC integration Understanding of industrial communication protocols Experience working to relevant safety and quality standards Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects Whats on Offer £50k salary Onsite role in Cambridge Opportunity to work on cutting-edge industrial technology Strong benefits package including enhanced pension, healthcare options, and training Collaborative and innovation-driven environment
