Electro-Mechanical Technician

An Electro-Mechanical Technician with a background of working within a High-Tech Electronics/ Mechanical Engineering related industry; with good soldering, wiring and assembly experience as well as good fault‑finding abilities, will join the production team of an award‑winning High‑Technology Company.

The Electro-Mechanical Technician role will focus on the electro‑mechanical assembly and test of a variety of mission critical imaging and security systems covering the manufacture and testing of mechanical, optical and electronic assemblies, component level fault‑finding and documentation.

Applicants for this Electro-Mechanical Technician role should bring the following skills & experience:

• A formal Engineering qualification.
• SMT soldering (to 0201) and PCB repair skills.
• Wiring and cable‑ harness assembly experience.
• Good fault‑finding skills.
• The ability to read schematics.
• Experience with electro‑mechanical assembly.
• An understanding of clean room techniques.
• A basic understanding of Solid Works or similar and electronic principles.
