Senior PCB Design Engineer | RF, Digital & Mixed Signal PCB Design | Hybrid Senior PCB Design Engineer Are you an experienced PCB Design Engineer looking to work on cutting-edge electronic products? We are recruiting for a Senior PCB Design Engineer to join an innovative engineering team developing advanced RF, digital, analogue and mixed-signal hardware for high-performance applications.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys solving complex design challenges, taking ownership of PCB layout from concept through to manufacture, and working alongside highly skilled hardware and mechanical engineers in a fast-paced technology environment.
The Role As a Senior PCB Design Engineer, you will lead the delivery of complex multilayer PCB designs, supporting products that utilise high-speed digital, RF and power electronics technologies.
You will be responsible for:
Owning the PCB design process from component library creation through to final release.
Translating schematic designs into manufacturable PCB layouts.
Designing complex RF, digital, analogue and mixed-signal PCBs.
Working closely with hardware and mechanical engineering teams throughout product development.
Conducting design reviews with internal stakeholders and customers.
Ensuring designs are delivered on time, to specification and in line with quality standards.
Driving continuous improvements in PCB design processes and engineering best practice.
Skills & Experience We're looking for someone with:
Proven experience designing complex RF, digital, analogue and power PCBs.
Strong knowledge of HDI PCB technologies, including microvias, stacked vias, via-in-pad and back drilling.
Experience with controlled impedance, high-speed design and length matching using constraint management.
Advanced PCB layout skills using Altium Designer.
Experience with Siemens PADS (desirable).
Good understanding of SMT, Design for Manufacture (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA).
Knowledge of IPC standards and EMI/EMC best practice.
Experience collaborating with mechanical and hardware engineering teams.
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to deliver high-quality designs under project deadlines.
Qualifications
HNC, HND or Degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
Minimum 5 years' experience in electronics hardware development and PCB design.
