Job Overview
Lead hardware design engineer required to develop electronic products across Consumer, Defence and Security, Health and Life Sciences. Will work closely with clients and the wider PA team to develop system‑level solutions and perform detailed electronic design work to realize concepts.
Role SpecificsCurrent projects include motion control, digital audio, software defined radio and high‑speed networking.
Key Technical Skills- Proven track record in electronic system architecture and professional workflow implementation.
- Strong background in analogue and digital circuit design, EDA techniques.
- Excellent knowledge of embedded technologies: microcontrollers, SoCs, SoMs, FPGA, and related embedded software or RTL.
- Experience across full product lifecycle from concept to service release.
- Design for compliance with UK, EU, and US regulatory standards.
- Hands‑on and willing to work through challenges from first principles.
- Energetic and enthusiastic for unfamiliar challenges, with ability to innovate.
- Passion for mentoring junior engineers.
- Degree in Electronic Engineering or related field from a leading university.
- UK SC security clearance ability (requiring sole UK nationality).
