Join our 2027 (Autumn) Graduate Programme as a Graduate Transport Planner in our Cambridge office, where you'll be part of a market-leading Community Development discipline.
As a Stantec Graduate Transport Planner, you'll develop your transport planning expertise within a supportive and collaborative multidisciplinary environment. Working alongside experienced professionals and fellow graduates, you'll contribute to a wide range of projects while gaining exposure to planning, civil engineering and project management disciplines.
Joining our growing Transport team, you'll support the delivery of projects for a diverse portfolio of clients across the East of England and throughout the UK. On a day-to-day basis, you'll support the delivery of transport planning projects from inception through to completion. Working closely with experienced colleagues, you will:
- Assist with the preparation of Transport Assessments, Transport Statements and Travel Plans.
- Support the development of transport strategies for a range of development projects.
- Analyse transport and traffic data to inform planning and design decisions.
- Contribute to technical reports, presentations and client deliverables.
- Liaise with multidisciplinary teams, local authorities and other stakeholders.
- Support project delivery across a variety of schemes, from community developments to major new settlements and enterprise zones.
This role offers excellent exposure to all aspects of transport planning, helping you build the technical, analytical and communication skills needed for a successful career in the industry.
