We're looking for a Building Services Manager to join our team based in Waterbeach, Cambridge., We're looking for a Building Services Manager to join our team and provide expert technical guidance across our projects. You'll be the go-to person for building services expertise, working collaboratively with teams from tender stage right through to delivery and handover. Whatwill you be responsible for?
As a Building Services Manager, you'll be working within the team, supporting them in delivering high-quality building services across varied projects. Your day to day will include:
- Assisting with the selection of sub-contractors and reviewing technical submittals to support bids and pre-construction phases
- Working closely with Design Teams to manage specific M&E packages and coordinate services on site
- Checking the quality of installations by sub-contractors to ensure compliance with design and specifications
- Managing the commissioning process and ensuring compliance of as-built and maintenance manuals
- Providing technical advice and support to project teams, finding solutions to challenges during the build phase
You have strong technical knowledge of M&E Design and Installations with a good understanding of modern Mechanical, Electrical and HVAC systems
- You're qualified in Mechanical or Electrical Discipline at Degree level or equivalent (NVQ/HND/HNC/CIBSE)
- You have experience working within a main contracting environment, managing specialist sub-contract partners
- You have demonstrable experience of working throughout the full project lifecycle from tender through to delivery and handover
- You hold SMSTS 5 Day Cert, CSCS Card and a Full driving licence
