Pay: £12.60 per hour

Hours: 42 hours per week (4 on, 4 off, 12‑hour shifts)

Grade: 3.1 Site Based

Job Description:

You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:

• Provide a variety of mobile security services including locks/unlocks, patrols (both external and internal), alarm response, vacant property inspections, escort services, etc.
• Remain professional, polite and helpful to clients, clients' staff and Securitas colleagues at all times.
• Complete vehicle handovers and checks at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Ensure the correct key management process is followed when removing and replacing keys.
• Be flexible and able to work across the Branch Guarding districts (GDs).
• Assist other branches as required.
• Assist with other requirements as directed by the DBM as and when necessary.

What we’re looking for:

Ideally, you’ll have:

• A valid SIA licence or Close Protection licence
• Full, clean UK manual driving licence
• Flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Physically fit and resilient due to long driving hours
• The right to work in the UK, with a 5‑year checkable history
• Strong communication skills in English—both written and spoken.
