Compliance Officer, Finance & Banking

Location: Cambridgeshire

We’re working confidentially with a highly respected, values-led organisation in Cambridge to appoint a Compliance Officer to support the implementation of their policies and procedures.

This is a broad, hands-on compliance role offering real ownership, variety, and the opportunity to shape and develop processes within a supportive and professional environment.

Main duties will include:

* Managing and supporting ISI compliance

* Risk management, incident reporting and follow-up

* Business continuity planning

* Data protection and information management

* Undertaking internal audits and compliance reviews

* Interpreting legislation and policies and translating these clearly for non-specialists

* General ad-hoc administration duties

The successful candidate will bring:

* Experience in compliance, risk, governance or data protection

* Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking

* The ability to interpret legislation and explain it clearly and pragmatically

* A calm, organised approach with excellent problem-solving skills

* A collaborative, professional and proactive mindset
