Management Accountant

We're working with a large, respected organisation in the education sector that's looking to hire a Management Accountant to act as the Number 2 to a hands-on CFO.

The Role Reporting directly to the CFO, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day financial management of the organisation, supporting both operational and strategic decision-making. Key responsibilities will include:

• Producing monthly management accounts and variance analysis
• Budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow reporting
• Supporting year-end and audit processes
• Improving financial controls and processes
• Partnering with senior stakeholders across the organisation
• Deputising for the CFO where required

This is a hands-on role with real visibility - perfect for someone who enjoys being close to the detail but also wants to think commercially.

The Person

You will be:

• Fully qualified (ACCA / ICAEW / CIMA)
• Experienced in management accounting and reporting
• Confident working directly with a CFO and senior leaders
• Comfortable in a fast-moving, multi-stakeholder environment
• Keen to develop into a broader leadership role

Experience in education, not-for-profit, or complex organisations would be an advantage, but is not essential. Why Apply?
