Management Accountant

We're delighted to be partnering with a fantastic client based near Granta Park to recruit a Management Accountant for their growing finance team. The role would suit an experienced Management Accountant, Assistant Management Accountant looking for their next step, or a finance professional who is qualified by experience.

Importantly, our client is focused on finding the right person and experience rather than requiring a specific accounting qualification.

The Role Reporting into the Finance Manager, you'll play a key role in the production of management information and supporting the wider business with financial reporting and analysis. Key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing monthly management accounts and supporting reports
• Performing balance sheet reconciliations and month-end activities
• Producing variance analysis and financial commentary
• Assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes
• Monitoring costs and supporting financial performance reviews
• Supporting stakeholders across the business with financial information and analysis
• Assisting with year-end audit requirements
• Identifying opportunities to improve finance processes and controls
• Providing ad hoc reporting and analysis as required

About You To be successful in this role, you'll ideally have:

• Previous experience within a Management Accountant, Assistant Management Accountant or similar finance position
• Strong month-end accounting experience
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good Excel and systems knowledge
• The confidence to communicate with colleagues across different departments
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
