Flame Health Optical has been instructed on a new opportunity for a Qualified Dispensing Optician based in Central Cambridge. Our award‑winning independent client is a dynamic optician that provides premium eye care solutions and a bespoke personal service. They are now actively looking for an ambitious, proven performer to join their team.

The Dispensing Optician will need to have a demonstrable track record of achievement coupled with strong commercial awareness, an eye for detail, a significant interest in optical fashion trends and be up to date with the latest clinical advancements and be able to do this autonomously. As you will be responsible for providing a premium service from a customer service perspective, it is all about the patient journey and exceeding expectations throughout.

• Provide top‑notch clinical judgment and hands‑on approach.
• Provide expert dispensing advice and help patients with frame and lens selection.
• Develop rapport with the team and contribute to driving the business forward.
• Help with advanced services including lens repairs and fittings.
• Be an integral part of the team, always looking for ways to improve.

• Qualified and GOC registered Dispensing Optician.
• Demonstrable experience of working as a Dispensing Optician.
