The Imaging department at the world‑renowned Addenbrooke’s (Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust) is recruiting a Band 6 Senior Body Interventional Radiology (IR) Radiographer to join the X‑ray Imaging Rotational Service.
You will be part of a team that works with highly specialised imaging techniques across multiple modalities, including IR, fluoroscopy, theatre and X‑ray. The department is closely linked to the University and the Cambridge Biomedical Campus, offering the opportunity to work with up‑to‑date technology and participate in cutting‑edge research and development.
Responsibilities- Carry out a wide range of complex X‑ray, fluoroscopy and interventional imaging procedures independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrate a high level of proficiency and professional clinical decision‑making throughout the senior rotation.
- Participate in the out‑of‑hours on‑call service on site within 30 minutes of the call.
- Support Area Leads/Deputy Leads in providing a safe, effective and high‑quality Imaging Service across the general X‑ray and Body Angiography departments.
- Work within imaging multidisciplinary teams and maintain flexibility to support future service development.
- BSc in Diagnostic Radiography with proven participation in CPD.
- Current HCPC Registration.
- Full and comprehensive training in IR will be provided.
- Applied for a Graduate visa.
- Successfully completed your course and applied for a Graduate visa before the anticipated start date of employment.
- Trust agreed to sponsor you as a Skilled Worker and you will complete your studies within 3 months of the anticipated start date.
