Occupational Health Technician​/Trainee

Occupational Health Staffing are looking to recruit an Occupational Health Technician to work in Cambridge + Travel on a full time permanent basis. You will be required to undertake regional travel with occasional nationwide travel.

This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and reliable individual to expand their skills and experience in a supportive environment, where you will be given a 3-week Training and Induction Programme with ongoing mentoring and support from the team.

• Drive a mobile medical unit (MMU).
• Health surveillance to include:
  • Audiometry
  • Spirometry
  • Height
  • Weight
  • BMI
  • Blood Pressure
  • Urinalysis
  • Drug & Alcohol Testing
• Travel to client sites and be comfortable with overnight stays.
• Park the unit at or near your home address.
• Maintain full view of diary 6 weeks in advance.
• Receive £30 subsistence per night, paid weekly.
• Access Premier Inn account for booking.
• Receive a fuel card.
• Drive your own vehicle whilst the van is being prepared.

• Experienced Occupational Health Technician with strong health surveillance skills.
• OR a sports science degree holder with experience as a Healthcare Support Worker, Emergency Care Assistant/Technician, Ambulance Assistant/Technician or Army Medic who has performed baseline measurements.
• Graduates with a degree in sports science seeking their first role in a healthcare setting with baseline measurement experience.
• Hold a manual UK driving licence and be able to provide a licence share code via the official government website.
• Will drive own vehicle while van is being prepared.

Salary: up to £27,000 + Benefits
