Are YOUwho we are looking for? We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and caring part time (6 sessions) or full time (8-9 sessions) salaried GP to join our friendly and patient focused team.
Wewelcome applications from both newly qualified and experienced GPs.
Clarkson Surgery are a traditional family and patient-focused Practice based in Wisbechwith a patient list of over 9,000 patients who aim to provide safe, effective,caring, responsive, and well-led services.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring GP tojoin our dedicated and forward- thinking team, who is willing to help usdevelop our services further and make a positive difference to our patients
Main duties of the jobClinical sessions, 1 administrative session per week
Consultationsare a mix of face-to-face and telephone appointments
Dutydoctor responsibility minimum of one on-call day per week
Homevisits occasionally required though infrequent as these are carried out bymembers of our advanced ACP/ANP team
Reviewing and actioning tasks, administrative queries, blood results, referrals to other services etc.
Providingclinical supervision to our nursing, ACP/ANP teams during on-call sessions.

About usGMS / Dispensing and Training Practice
- High QOF achievement and offering a wide range of Enhanced Services inc. minor surgery, joint injections and coils/implants. We host our PCNs Extended Access clinics.
- Three GP Partners
- Four advanced team colleagues (ACP/ANPs)
- Experienced nursing team supporting patients with chronic long term conditions
- Supportive non-clinical management and staff team
- PCN ARRS colleagues including pharmacists, physiotherapist, care co-ordinator, social prescriber, wellbeing team
- 1 of 4 active Practices of our local Primary Care Network (Wisbech )
- Recently achieved Training Practice status where we will be supporting trainee GPs
- Clinical system is Systm One with Ardens templates
- CQC rated Good
- 5 weeks annual leave and 1 week study leave per annum pro rata as part of a competitive package
To produce and comply with a work plan developed in partnership with the Partners and Practice Manager to ensure all Practice and other work is deliveredappropriately and safely.
To undertakeappropriate clinical risk assessments and work with the wider team to implementmanagement strategies for risks identified.
To participate in activities required to assess compliance with CQC fundamental standards.
To provide high quality medical services in the context of general practice to the patients registered with Clarkson Surgery.
To provide afull range of services in line with the agreed requirements of the PracticesNHS contract including the quality and outcomes framework (QOF) and any localenhanced services.
To provide any services as required for the Primary Care Network agreement includingshared QOF standards and service specifications.
To provide appropriate care and services to patients in all age ranges and levels ofhealth care needs.
To respondto medical/health problems presented by patients on the registered listincluding history taking, diagnosis, investigation, treatment and referral as appropriate.
To provide management of long-term conditions in line with national guidelines andpathways.
To read and interpret test results ordered by you and other team members taking appropriate action based on the findings.
To provide appropriate health promotion and preventative health care advice to allpatients attending the Practice, enabling self management.
To prescribegenerically for patients as appropriate to need (using our Practice formulary) and provide appropriate clinical rationale with support from the Medicines Management Team.
To carry outappropriate administrative and other duties in line with the needs of the Practice including referral to other services, maintenance of records, managingregisters etc.
To maintain clinical records either written or computer based in line with professionalcode and requirements utilising appropriate coding.
To work inline with appropriate Practice policies and procedures including human resources, safeguarding adults and children etc.
To undertakeappropriate audit in practice to identify clinical quality issues and markersand define…
