Bladder and Bowel Specialist Nurse

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Bladder and Bowel Service. We are seeking a motivated individual who wishes to join us.

If you are committed to improving continence outcomes for patients, this post is your chance to work in a dynamic team and make a real difference to our patients.

Please note for this role you will be required to travel independently around the county meeting strict time deadlines. You will need to hold a full UK driving licence and have use of a vehicle. You cannot use public transport for this role as this is not a reliable form of transport and will not allow you to meet service needs.

• To provide an advanced standard of clinical assessment, evidence-based advice and education to individuals with bladder and bowel problems.
• To plan, implement and evaluate specialist packages of care for individuals with bladder and bowel problems.
• To work as part of the multidisciplinary team with the aim of preventing admission, supporting early discharge and providing ongoing or shared care for patients with continence problems.
• To provide advice and education to the general public and other Health Care professionals.
• To undertake all aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner with access to advice and support from senior colleagues.
• To participate in evidence-based audit and research projects.
