Year 12 | Level 2
- Adult Care Worker

Build your foundations in care, learning how to provide outstanding, relationship-centred support while gaining the knowledge, skills and behaviours you need to thrive in your role.

Year 3 | Level 3
- Lead Adult Care Worker

As your confidence and experience grow, you'll take on greater responsibility and start your leadership journey.

Years 45 | Level 4
- Lead practitioner in adult care & Level 5
- Leader in Adult Care

You’ll further develop your leadership, management and decision‑making skills, preparing you for future senior and leadership opportunities.

What Will You Do?
  • Building meaningful relationships with residents and getting to know what matters to them.
  • Providing personal care and practical support, always protecting residents' dignity, privacy, independence and choice.
  • Helping residents with everyday routines and activities while encouraging them to remain as independent as possible.
  • Supporting residents to enjoy meaningful activities, hobbies and social opportunities.
  • Observing residents and reporting any changes in their health or wellbeing to your line manager.
  • Supporting a safe environment by raising concerns relating to health, safety, safeguarding, incidents or maintenance.
  • Most importantly, you'll help create an environment where residents feel valued, heard, respected and at home.

Experience caring for a family member, friend or someone living with dementia can be helpful, but it isn't essential. We're more interested in your attitude, values and potential.

You’ll also need GCSE Maths and English at Grade 5 or above.
