PRODUCT MARKETING MANAGER - CAMBRIDGESHIRE (ONCE A WEEK) - £45,000 - £55,000

I'm looking for a Product Marketing Manager to play a critical role in translating complex product and technical capabilities into clear, compelling, and commercially effective messaging.

This role is ideal for someone comfortable operating between technical depth and commercial storytelling, and who enjoys making complex technical concepts understandable and compelling.

Reporting to the Head of Product, you will work closely with Product Managers, Engineering, Marketing, and Commercial teams to create technically accurate and accessible materials that bridge the gap between detailed product delivery and market-facing communication.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Acting as the bridge between Product Management, Technology, and Marketing, ensuring alignment between what is built and how it is communicated.
Developing clear, technically accurate product messaging, value propositions, and narratives for use by Marketing, Sales, and Commercial teams.
Producing and maintaining core product-facing content, including product overviews, solution briefs, capability descriptions, and platform explanations.
Working closely with Product Managers and Engineering teams to understand APIs, platform behaviour, constraints, and roadmap direction.
Translating technical documentation, API capabilities, and product functionality into approachable, customer-friendly material.
Supporting go-to-market activities by enabling Marketing and Sales teams with accurate product positioning and supporting content.
Ensuring consistency of product language and messaging across documentation, marketing materials, sales collateral, and customer communications.
Participating in product discussions, reviews, and roadmap planning to remain aligned with current and future product direction.
Acting as a subject-matter expert for product capabilities when supporting pre-sales, partner discussions, or commercial initiatives.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and confidently.
Experience working closely with product and technical teams in a fast-paced delivery environment.
A structured, analytical mindset with the ability to understand detailed product functionality and translate it into clear messaging.
The ability to collaborate effectively across Product, Technology, Marketing, and Commercial teams.
Strong attention to detail, particularly when producing technically accurate content.
The confidence to challenge assumptions and ensure product messaging accurately reflects platform capability and constraints.
The ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders while maintaining clarity and consistency of output.
A pragmatic, delivery-focused approach, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

NICE TO HAVE

Experience in fintech, payments, card issuing, processing, or regulated financial services environments.
Familiarity with APIs, developer documentation, or technical platforms.
Experience supporting go-to-market activities, sales enablement, or product launches.
An understanding of regulated product environments, compliance considerations, or scheme-driven constraints.
Previous experience in a Product Marketing, Technical Marketing, or similar hybrid role.
