This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. You'll work at the intersection of healthcare data integrity and advanced AI - bringing your real-world experience in clinical data, compliance, and governance frameworks to projects that matter.

- Define and enforce data governance standards that ensure hospital health records are accurate, consistent, and secure
- Evaluate and improve the quality of healthcare data inputs used in AI model training and evaluation
- Review clinical and operational data workflows to identify gaps in governance, compliance, or data integrity
- Work across clinical, IT, and compliance domains to assess and align data policies and classification frameworks
- Assess data readiness for analytical, regulatory, and AI-specific use cases
- Provide structured, expert feedback on data quality, governance maturity, and risk exposure
- Complete task-based assignments independently on your own schedule
- Experienced in healthcare data governance, clinical data management, or health data operations
- Deep understanding of healthcare privacy, compliance, and regulatory frameworks — including HIPAA
- Able to think critically across clinical, technical, and administrative data domains
- Sharp eye for data quality issues - you notice inconsistencies, gaps, and risks others miss
- Clear and structured communicator who can document findings and recommendations effectively
- Self-motivated and reliable when working independently in a remote, asynchronous environment
- Prior experience with data annotation, data quality evaluation, or AI training workflows
- Background in health informatics, clinical informatics, or electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Familiarity with data governance frameworks such as DAMA-DMBOK or HITRUST
- Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders across hospital or health system environments
- Knowledge of coding systems such as ICD-10, SNOMED, or HL7/FHIR standards
- Work on cutting-edge AI projects alongside leading research labs and AI development teams
- Fully remote and flexible - work when and where it suits you
- Freelance autonomy with the structure of meaningful, expert-level work
- Apply your healthcare data expertise to one of the most consequential emerging fields in technology
- Contribute to AI systems that will influence how health data is understood and used at scale
- Potential for ongoing work and contract extension as new projects launch
