We're looking for a highly organised and proactive Materials & Facilities Coordinator to join our team in Melbourn. This is a varied role that combines supply chain coordination, inventory management, facilities support, and front-of-house responsibilities in a regulated diagnostics manufacturing and R&D environment.

What You’ll Be DoingYou won’t be tackling this role alone, you’ll be joining a close knit Site Operations team where collaboration is key. No two days are ever quite the same, and you'll play an important role in supporting both our operational teams and site visitors by:
Front of House & Facilities Support- Acting as a first point of contact for visitors and guests.
- Providing a professional reception and meet-and-greet service.
- Coordinating meeting room bookings and preparation.
- Supporting day-to-day facilities activities across the site.
- Managing the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials, consumables, and components.
- Verifying deliveries against purchase orders and supporting quality inspections.
- Maintaining accurate inventory records and traceability documentation.
- Ensuring materials are stored correctly and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Raising and managing purchase orders for critical materials and supplies.
- Liaising with suppliers regarding deliveries, documentation, and order status.
- Supporting supplier performance monitoring and issue resolution.
- Helping maintain continuity of supply to support manufacturing and R&D activities.
- Maintaining accurate records in line with ISO 13485 and internal quality systems.
- Supporting audit readiness through robust documentation and traceability.
- Supporting stock counts, inventory reconciliation, and warehouse organisation.
- Ensuring materials are correctly segregated and controlled.
- Following all health, safety, and biosafety procedures.
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the site.

Essential Skills & Experience- Previous experience in a materials coordination, supply chain, logistics, warehouse, or similar inventory management role.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping accuracy.
- Confident communicator who can build relationships across different teams and suppliers.
- Good IT skills and experience using inventory management, ERP, or MRP systems.
- GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English.
