Job Summary

Based in Sawston, the Supply Chain Specialist will play a key role in supportinglogisticsand procurement activities across the supply chain. Given the complexity and regulatory requirements associated with the development and manufacture of Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMPs), the successful candidate willutilisespecialist knowledge andexpertisewhile building strong collaborative relationships with internal teams and external partners.

Key responsibilities for this role include:
  • Coordinating stock, orders,deliveries and collections in line with Good Manufacturing Practice ,Good Distribution Practice and  Clinical Operations requirements.
  • Create and process requisitions andpurchaseorders.
  • Liaising with suppliersregardingorder status and delivery schedules.
  • Monitor inventory levels of raw materials,consumable sand reagents.
  • Assisting in managing material expiry dates and stock rotation.
  • Serve as a point of contact for suppliers andlogisticsproviders,assisting with supplier performance tracking and reporting.
  • Coordinating incoming and outgoing shipments, tracking delivery along with preparing shipping documentation and supporting courier arrangements which include temperature controlled and cryogenic shipments.
You willhave the following experience/qualifications:
  • Preferred experience in supplychainandlogistics, within a similar industry.
  • ExperienceofGMP and GDP is desirable.
  • Strong organisational, planning and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
