Our client is seeking a hands‑on and reliable Maintenance Assistant to support the smooth day‑to‑day running of their facilities. Key Responsibilities Working as part of the facilities team, your duties will include:

Carrying out routine maintenance and basic repairs across the site
Supporting planned preventative maintenance activities
Assisting external contractors and ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently
Responding to maintenance tickets and resolving issues promptly
Conducting regular building checks and reporting faults
Maintaining tools and equipment to a high standard
Supporting room setups, furniture moves, and operational tasks
Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations and organisational standards
About You Our client is looking for someone who brings:

Previous maintenance, caretaking, or practical DIY experience (desirable but not essential)
A basic understanding of plumbing, carpentry, electrical, or general building repairs
A proactive approach with strong problem‑solving skills
A reliable, positive attitude and willingness to learn
Good communication skills and the ability to work well with colleagues and contractors
Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload
A commitment to maintaining a safe working environment
