Maintenance Operative - Cambridge

Our client, a reputable organisation in the property sector, is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Operative to join their team in Cambridge. This permanent role offers a fantastic opportunity for individuals who thrive in hands-on environments and possess a passion for delivering exceptional service.

Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 (DOE)

Hours:

08:00 AM - 05:00 PM, Monday to Friday (1 in 5 Saturdays)

Key Responsibilities:

Provide maintenance and repairs to accommodation while managing front service desk inquiries.
Conduct routine maintenance tasks, including:

- Refreshing paintwork
- Performing room checkouts
- General joinery tasks such as checking doors and hinges
- Cleaning and inspecting shower heads
- Addressing general room maintenance needs

Undertake regular building patrols to identify maintenance requirements and Health & Safety risks.
Execute silicone sealing and diagnose bathroom issues effectively.

What's

Required:

Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Previous experience in Carpentry or Plumbing.
A solid background in using a variety of maintenance tools.
Strong knowledge of Health & Safety practises to ensure a safe working environment.
