R&D Logistics Assistant

This company develops advanced technologies for national security applications - as their business scales and their ideas move towards field trials, they are seeking a R&D Logistics Assistant to help keep their R&D operation running smoothly.

Your day-to-day work would be varied and typically may include tasks such as stock storage, allocation and checking, inspection of deliveries, maintenance of the storage facilities, tools and equipment, and appropriate record keeping. As the company is still small and at an early stage, you may also provide support elsewhere in the business as and when the need arises.

• A numerate STEM background and demonstrable interest in technology
• Full, clean UK driving licence
• Proficiency with manual handling/lifting tasks
• Punctuality, organisation skills, and attention to detail
• Aptitude with computer systems including spreadsheets
• Adaptability and flexibility
• Existing UK work permission and eligibility to obtain a security clearance

Previous stores/warehouse experience is obviously a bonus, but not essential.

This is a great opportunity to join an early-stage, fast-moving company and help them bring new technologies to market that will help keep the UK secure. The role is based fully onsite, south of Cambridge. A competitive salary is on offer to the successful candidate.
