Head of Production

Location: Waterbeach

A competent Head of Production will take responsibility for all production and manufacturing operations for a new department within an established award-winning High Technology company; overseeing production planning, supply chain coordination, quality performance and continuous improvement initiatives.

Applications for this Head of Production will bring proven experience of running a manufacturing environment with highly configurable products; a strong understanding of production planning, purchasing and supply chain operations, extensive experience of working with ERP/MRP systems as well as knowledge of quality systems and compliance.

Previous experience of working within a high-technology manufacturing environment is highly beneficial with a focus on Electronics, Defence and/or Aerospace environments.

Applications for this Head of Production are sought from those with the following experience:

* An Engineering or relevant technical degree qualification.

* Proven experience running a manufacturing environment within High-Technology, Electronics, Defence or Aerospace environment.

* Good understanding of supply chain operations, purchasing and production planning.

* Proven knowledge of quality systems, compliance and manufacturing best practices.

* Experience working with ERP/MRP systems and manufacturing KPIs.

* Experience managing operation performance and continuous improvement initiatives.
