Warehouse​/Forklift Operative

Location: Duxford

Crem Recruitment are recruiting for a Forklift Operative to join their busy client within the manufacturing industry.

Pay Rate

£14.30 per hour

Hours

Full time – weekly rotating shifts:

Week 1:
Monday to Friday – 6am to 2pm
Week 2:
Monday to Friday – 2pm to 10pm

Applicants must hold an in-date RTITB Counterbalance licence. Reach licence would also be advantageous.

Duties will include:

* Safely operating Counterbalance forklifts, Reach trucks and pallet trucks

* Offloading raw materials from lorries and storing within the warehouse

* Collecting and storing finished products from production and packing

* Picking and packing orders ready for dispatch

* Stock control and inventory management, including stock takes

* Keeping the warehouse clean and organised

* Ensuring work is carried out safely and in line with health and safety procedures

Skills and Experience

Required:

* In-date RTITB licences – Counterbalance essential, Reach desirable

* VNA licence beneficial but not essential

* High level of accuracy and attention to detail

* Previous warehouse experience

* Experience working with hazardous materials advantageous

* Good numeracy and communication skills

* Reliable and efficient team player

* Good IT skills, with SAP or warehouse management system experience advantageous
