Production Operative

Location: Duxford

We are recruiting Production Operatives to join a busy and growing food manufacturing site based in Duxford, Cambridgeshire.  This is a hands-on role where you will be picking, packing, assisting with keeping workplace clean and tidy and completing paperwork. You will be working in a fast-paced environment with real opportunities to progress — including development into a Line Leader position for the right person.

Driving licence and transport is essential due to location of the role.

Pay:£13.00 per hour

Hours:

Monday–Friday | 07:30–17:00

Breaks: 2 x 30-minute breaks

Type:
Temp to Perm Opportunity

Duties:

Running and monitoring the production line
Operating machinery safely and efficiently
Supporting the management of teams on the line
Carrying out quality checks on products
Maintaining high hygiene and food safety standards
Sweeping and keeping work areas clean and tidy
General warehouse duties as required
Reporting equipment issues to line supervisors
Cleaning machines ready for the next production run

✔ Own transport (location not accessible by public transport)

✔ Comfortable working in a food production environment

✔ Previous experience in food manufacturing is highly desirable but not essential — full training will be provided.
