Quality Assurance Manager

Location: Cambridgeshire

A well-respected food business with a strong reputation in the industry is looking for an experienced QA Manager

This is a company that takes quality seriously - not just in what they produce, but in how they develop their people - and they're looking for someone who shares that mindset.

You'll be stepping into a key role with real ownership.
Day-to-day you'll keep the site running to the highest food safety and quality standards, lead a hands-on QA and hygiene team, and make sure the business stays ahead of its compliance obligations.
It's a varied position that touches everything from HACCP and internal audits to supplier testing programmes and customer complaints - so no two weeks will look the same.

You'll be well suited if you have:
- A solid background in QA within food manufacturing, with at least 3 years at a supervisory or management level
- Good working knowledge of BRCGS and what it takes to maintain and improve a QMS
- HACCP Level 3 as a minimum - Food Safety Level 3 is a bonus
- Experience managing or mentoring a small team
- A methodical, hands-on approach and the confidence to push back when standards aren't being met
