Job Title: Electro Mechanical Assembler
Location: Bassingbourn
Pay Rate: £16.25 – £17.33 per hour (DOE) or £21.68 - £23.12 per hour Umbrella
Contract Role
Overview of the Electro-Mechanical Assembler
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join a busy and growing team based in Bassingbourn on a contract basis.
Responsibilities- Assembly and build of electro-mechanical products
- Wiring of components and systems to technical drawings
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and schematics
- Conducting basic testing and fault finding
- Ensuring builds are completed to high quality and safety standards
- Previous experience as an Electro-Mechanical Assembler, Wireman or Mechanical Fitter
- Ability to both build and wire (multi-skilled preferred)
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and wiring diagrams
- Good attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
