Job Description

We are looking for a Consumer Electronics Engineer with experience in bringing high‑volume consumer products to market. You will be called upon to develop products from concept through to mass production. This role’s primary focus is consumer product development, with opportunities to work across sectors such as medical, life science and defence.

Role Specifics
  • A proven track record of developing and implementing electronic designs using Altium and Cadence tools.
  • Well versed in core electronics disciplines including analogue and digital circuit design and experience with the latest embedded platforms.
  • Demonstrable experience balancing design BOM cost requirements with project requirements.
  • Exposure to the full product lifecycle from concept generation through to launch and ongoing improvement, including delivering designs into service and mass production.
  • Good understanding of the regulatory landscape of the UK, EU and US and a proven track record of designing for compliance with appropriate standards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable explaining complex engineering concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.

Qualifications
  • Degree qualified – a good degree in electronic engineering or a related subject from a leading university.
  • Ability to gain UK SC security clearance if not already acquired (requires sole UK nationality).
Interview Process
  • Quick call with a Tech Recruiter to discuss the application and the role.
  • Round 1 – a competency or technical interview (60 min).
  • Round 2 – the other interview type, whichever was not done first (60 min).
  • Final round – meeting with a PA leader, mini case study and discussion around client‑centricity (60 min).
