Trainee Aerospace Laminator | Cambridge | £15.85 per hour
Day 1:
Your own bench, your own materials, and an experienced laminator showing you the process on night shifts.
Day 30:
Confidently laying up to spec, checking your own quality as you go.
Day 90:
Trusted with the trickier lay-ups, working with real independence in the shop.
Night Shift
Hours:
4pm - 2am, Monday - Thursday. Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday night off.

As a Trainee Aerospace Laminator, your responsibilities will include:
Laying up composite materials to technical specification
Working from drawings and process instructions to produce finished components
Operating ovens and curing equipment as part of the laminating process
Preparing materials and checking quality throughout
Identifying and reporting defects or non-conformances
Maintaining a clean, organised work area in line with operational standards
As a Trainee Aerospace Laminator, your experience will include:
Some hands-on experience in a composites or manufacturing environment
A working knowledge of laminating processes such as wet lay-up or pre-preg
Ability to follow technical drawings or written process instructions
A methodical approach with attention to detail and a willingness to learn
Reliability and a strong work ethic in a structured production setting
Must be able to work a 4pm to 2am shift, Monday to Thursday
