Pro-Resourcing Ltd is currently recruiting on behalf of our client.
Our client, a medical device manufacturing business, is currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team.
The position is full time, permanent.
Salary:
Up to £55,000.

Working hours:

Monday to Thursday 08:00-16:30 and Friday 08:00-13:00.
Key responsibilities
 
* Develop, implement, and continuously improve manufacturing processes to optimise cycle times, improve yield, and increase efficiency.
 
* Ensure all production operations comply with ISO 13485, (GMP), and internal quality procedures.
 
* Plan and execute process validation activities, including the generation and execution of IQ, OQ, and PQ protocols and reports.
 
* Investigate manufacturing non-conformances, deviations, and process failures, implementing robust Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
 
* Deliver cost-improvement initiatives by using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Value Stream Mapping to reduce scrap and waste.
 
* Specify, source, and implement new manufacturing equipment, automated systems, tooling, and jigs/fixtures.
 
* Create and maintain accurate manufacturing documentation (SOPs, work instructions, and routing) through formal engineering change control workflows.
 
* Manage cross-functional engineering projects focused on enhancing manufacturing capability, capacity expansion, and capital equipment installations.
Requirements
 
* Minimum of five years' experience in a Manufacturing Engineer role.
 
* Degree qualified in a relevant Engineering discipline.
 
* Experience working within the medical device industry.
 
* Six Sigma Black Belt trained (desirable).
 
* Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma methodologies, Kaizen, and Value Stream Mapping.
 
* Experience developing, improving, and optimising manufacturing processes and workflows
