Trainee Aerospace Laminator | Cambridge | £15.85 per hour
Day 1:
Your own bench, your own materials, and an experienced laminator showing you the process on night shifts.
Day 30:
Confidently laying up to spec, checking your own quality as you go.
Day 90:
Trusted with the trickier lay-ups, working with real independence in the shop.
Night Shift
Hours:
4pm - 2am, Monday - Thursday. Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday night off.

You'll be working within a well-established aerospace and composite materials environment where the standard of what you produce genuinely matters.

- Working from drawings and process instructions to produce finished components
- Operating ovens and curing equipment as part of the laminating process
- Preparing materials and checking quality throughout
- Identifying and reporting defects or non-conformances
- Maintaining a clean, organised work area in line with operational standards
- Some hands-on experience in a composites or manufacturing environment
- A working knowledge of laminating processes such as wet lay-up or pre-preg
- Ability to follow technical drawings or written process instructions
- A methodical approach with attention to detail and a willingness to learn
- Reliability and a strong work ethic in a structured production setting
- Must be able to work a 4pm to 2am shift, Monday to Thursday
