We are currently recruiting for a Staff Integration Test Engineer.

This role is based in the UK.Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the UK at the time of hire.

• Product Release Testing
  • Designs, develops, maintains, executes, and reports on test cases for the various product releases.
  • Aggressively performs black-box testing of released products or products under development to reveal defects and design problems.
  • Manages defects throughout the life cycle of iterative software and hardware releases using Target Process.
  • Uses test tools to assess the audio quality and data integrity of the products.
  • Maintains knowledge of current and future Clear-Com and Trilogy projects.
  • Develops and maintains the processes and initiatives within the department.
  • Helps the development of the other team members in their system knowledge and test skills
• Sustaining Product Testing
  • Investigate customer problems with existing products containing software or firmware reported by end-users, Sales, Marketing, Service Division or Engineering.
  • Assists development engineers by reproducing defects reported by customers in a released product.
  • Maintains a high level of expertise in at least two released Clear-Com or Trilogy products.
  • Provides customer-facing acceptance and regression test reports and documentation as required by new opportunities or contracts.
  • Carries out critical thinking, judgment, and uses initiative.
  • Recognizes, reports, and elevates a broad range of planning, design, and implementation risks.
  • Leads and develops risk mitigation strategies and recommends process improvements to reduce the potential of future technical risks.
  • Recognizes when process improvements are necessary, gathers facts and makes recommendations to make informed decisions.
  • Provides testing estimates and schedule input for project planning.
  • May be asked to lead a small team.

• Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Test Engineer/Software Engineer.
  • Experience with system testing, IP, networking, SIP.
  • The ability to create, organize, execute and verify complex test cases based on specifications delivered by design engineers.
  • Thorough knowledge of testing methodologies and troubleshooting techniques for both software and hardware issues.
  • Thorough understanding of product life cycle including agile, waterfall and V models.
