Chef De Partie

Location: Cambridgeshire

We are representing a prestigious institution seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Chef de Partie to join its dynamic and close-knit catering team.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a renowned kitchen known for its exceptional food and professional service. The team delivers a wide range of dining experiences, from high-volume cafeteria-style service to exquisite fine dining, catering for both internal and external events.

About the Role:

* Position:
Permanent, Full-time (40 hours/week)

* Shifts:

Includes evening and alternate weekend shifts on a rota basis (please refer to example rota for details).

* Variety:
Workload varies throughout the academic year, with opportunities to cater for conferences, weddings, and special events.

About You:

* Qualifications:

NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Professional Cookery (minimum).

* Passion for Food: A love for food and cookery, with an eagerness to bring creativity to the role.

* Team Player:
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

* Knowledge:
Familiarity with food law and allergen information.
