Bistro Café Chef

Tuesday - Saturday | 8:00am - 4:30pm | 40 hours per week

Evolve Hospitality is recruiting on behalf of a local, independent, family-run garden centre with an exciting vision to create one of the best cafés in the area.

We are looking for a creative and passionate Chef to join the team and play a key role in bringing this vision to life.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a chef who enjoys working with seasonal produce
, creating exciting dishes and having genuine creative input into the food offering.

You will take an important role in developing a seasonal café bistro menu
, alongside an all-day dining menu and regular seasonal specials.

We are looking for someone who is confident working independently, can self-manage the kitchen and enjoys creating fresh, innovative food that will help establish the café as a destination in its own right.

You will have the opportunity to:

• Create and write menus using fresh, seasonal products
• Develop a varied café bistro and all-day dining menu
• Create exciting seasonal specials
• Have genuine creative input into the food offering
• Take ownership of the kitchen and day-to-day food operation
• Work with quality, seasonal ingredients
• Adapt menus and dishes to suit the business and customers
• Maintain excellent standards of food quality, presentation and hygiene
• Help shape the café as the garden centre's standout food destination

The ideal candidate will be:

• An experienced and passionate Chef
• Creative and enthusiastic about food
• Confident with menu writing and development
• Comfortable working in a self-managed environment
• Knowledgeable about seasonal produce
• Adaptable and able to respond to changing requirements
• Organised, reliable and able to work independently
• Passionate about producing high-quality, fresh food
• Excited by the opportunity to help build something from the ground up

• 40-hour contract
• Tuesday-Saturday
• 8:00am-4:30pm working hours
