The Role

As Butchery Manager, you will be fully responsible for the day-to-day management and commercial performance of the butchery operation. You will lead from the front, ensuring exceptional product quality, compliance, and customer service at all times.

Key Responsibilities

* Managing all aspects of the butchery department

* Preparing and cutting meat to an exceptional professional standard

* Leading, training, and motivating a small team

* Ensuring full compliance with food hygiene and safety regulations

* Managing stock control, ordering, margins, and waste

* Driving sales through strong merchandising and product knowledge

* Delivering a first-class customer experience

About You

* Proven experience as a senior butcher or butchery manager

* Strong leadership and team development skills

* Excellent knife skills and comprehensive product knowledge

* Commercially aware with experience managing KPIs and margins

* Passionate about quality produce and customer service

* Organised, proactive, and able to work independently
