COMMUTABLE FROM CAMBRIDGESHIRE / SUFFOLK

SALARY £32-35K (Depending on Experience)

HOURS OF WORK:
Monday to Friday - 8.30am till 5pm

Our client is a leading UK manufacturer of corrugated cardboard packaging, serving a wide range of markets throughout the UK with sustainable, high-quality products. They offer bespoke packaging solutions, including e-commerce and retail-ready packaging.
They are currently looking to recruit an Internal Account Manager / Sales Co-Ordinator who will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with existing customers to drive account growth. The successful candidate will have on a proactive and organised approach to account management, combining strong commercial awareness with excellent customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Respond promptly and professionally to online and telephone enquiries
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers
Retain and grow an assigned portfolio of accounts to ensure continued profitability
Identify customers with growth potential & proactively drive additional sales opportunities
Prepare, process, and follow up on sales quotations and customer orders
Set up accurate product specifications to ensure orders are produced correctly
Apply excellent attention to detail and organisational skills across all tasks
Liaise closely with internal departments to ensure customer requirements are met in terms of specification, costings, and lead times
Investigate and resolve order discrepancies or customer satisfaction issues collaboratively and efficiently
Work closely with colleagues to encourage a positive, supportive, and high-performing team environment
Provide support and cover for team members and other departments during periods of holiday or absence

Requirements:

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Proactive and commercially aware approach
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Strong relationship-building skills
Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset
Previous experience in account management, sales support, or customer service (packaging or manufacturing experience desirable but not essential)
