Area Sales Manager - Groundscare Machinery Company Vehicle

We are recruiting for an Area Sales Manager to join an established machinery dealership specialising in professional ground scare equipment.

This is a field based sales role with responsibility for developing an existing customer base, winning new business and increasing machinery sales across an allocated territory. You will work with customers across the ground scare, landscaping, amenity and grounds maintenance sectors, understanding their requirements and recommending suitable machinery and equipment.

• Managing and developing existing customer relationships while identifying new business opportunities
• Promoting and selling a range of ground scare machinery and associated equipment
• Visiting customers, carrying out machinery demonstrations and preparing quotations
• Negotiating sales and managing opportunities through to delivery and aftersales follow up
• Working towards agreed sales targets and maintaining an active sales pipeline
• Building knowledge of the local market and identifying opportunities for growth
• Working with the wider dealership team to support sales performance and customer service

• Previous sales experience, ideally within agricultural machinery, ground scare equipment or capital equipment sales
• Proven ability to develop customer relationships, generate new business and achieve sales targets
• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills, with a professional and customer-focused approach
• Commercial awareness and the ability to understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products
• Self-motivated, organised and comfortable managing an allocated territory independently
• Full UK driving licence and a genuine interest in machinery and equipment
• Ground scare or agricultural machinery sales experience would be an advantage, but applications are also welcomed from candidates with relevant transferable sales experience. Knowledge of machinery finance, product demonstrations or dealership sales would be beneficial.

Flexibility will be required to accommodate customer visits, machinery demonstrations and occasional industry events.
