• 12 hour shift pattern, 4 on / 4 off; working nights and weekends 18:00 to 06:00

Our client is adynamic and professional working environment within a leading biotechnology company based in the amazing grounds of Granta Park. The role of a Security Officer is highly respected and will become part of the core Security team.

You will be responsible for acting as the first point of contact for staff, visitors, and contractors, and be an integral part of the concierge team.

Your duties include (but are not limited to):

• Safeguard resources, assets, property, and people within organisational boundaries
• Manage access control and identification/badging
• Operate and monitor security systems including CCTV, visitor management, fire panels, alarms, and communications systems
• Conduct physical security patrols
• Respond promptly to security incidents and elevate as required
• Deliver customer-facing security services with professionalism and courtesy

Full in-house training will be provided.

• Valid SIA Licence
• Right to work in the UK and a five-year checkable history
• Punctual and reliable
• Passionate about creating an expectational customer experience
• Knowledge of the MS packages (excel, word, outlook)
• Highly intuitive with a curious mindset
