A well respected fire and security company in the Cambridge region is looking to add an experienced Service Engineer to their team. With long standing commercial contracts, steady work pipelines and a strong focus on engineer development, this is a great opportunity for someone who wants stability, variety and genuine progression.

This role has been created due to continued growth, and the business is keen to bring in someone who can deliver high quality service and customer care across a mix of fire and security systems.

The Role

You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, diagnosing and repairing a range of systems across commercial and industrial sites. The work is well structured, planned and supported by an organised operations team.

Your day may include:

Servicing and maintaining fire alarm systems (addressable and conventional)
Fault finding and carrying out remedial works
Servicing intruder alarms, CCTV and access control systems
Providing excellent customer communication on site
Ensuring compliance with relevant standards and safety procedures
Covering local Cambridge based areas with minimal travel disruption

What You'll Need

Experience servicing fire and/or security systems
Good understanding of fault finding and remedials
Comfortable with both planned and reactive maintenance
Full UK driving licence
Strong communication and customer facing skills
