SW Locums is recruiting an experienced Social Worker – Family Safeguarding to join the City Family Support and Safeguarding Team at Cambridgeshire County Council.

Role Details

* £39.00 per hour – Umbrella

* Full-time locum

* Monday to Friday

* ASAP start

* Hybrid working – 2/3 days in the office

* Location:

Fawcett House, Foster Road, Trumpington

About the Role

You will manage a varied caseload across CIN, CP and CIC, with opportunities to work on complex cases involving PLO and Care Proceedings.

Key responsibilities include:

* Completing statutory visits for CIN, CP and CIC

* Chairing CIN and Core Group meetings

* Completing court reports, risk assessments and parenting assessments

* Attending court with support from a Senior Practitioner or Team Manager

* Participating in the duty rota

* Attending ICPC and RCPC meetings and preparing conference reports

* Managing and assessing safeguarding risks

* Working collaboratively with families and partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Children's Social Worker looking for a challenging and rewarding safeguarding assignment.
