We are a 100% distributed team with nearly 200 people worldwide, collaborating across frontend and backend engineering, AI research, and other roles from leading companies and universities.

The Platform team builds and maintains backend services, including payments, analytics, subscriptions, text-to-speech, and external APIs. This role suits someone who thinks strategically, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and cares about delivering great user experiences.

We value leadership through technical excellence and strong communication. The interview process involves several technical interviews, typically completed within one week.

• Design, develop, and maintain robust APIs including public TTS API, and internal APIs for Payment, Subscription, Auth, and Consumption Tracking, ensuring scalability and alignment with business needs
• Oversee and optimize the full backend API landscape for performance and maintainability
• Collaborate on B2B solutions, focusing on customization and integration for enterprise clients
• Work with cross-functional teams to align backend architecture with product strategy and user experience

• Direct experience with Google Cloud Platform and knowledge of AWS, Azure, or other cloud providers
• Ability to ideate and implement with prioritization based on urgency and impact
• Preferred:
  Docker and containerized deployments
• Preferred:
  Proficiency in deploying highly available applications on Kubernetes
