Class 2 Driver​/Yard Operative

We are seeking a dedicated and professional HGV Driver to join our client's transport team based in Burwell. The successful candidate will play a key role in the safe and efficient delivery of machinery across the country, supporting both customer operations and internal logistics. This role requires flexibility for overnight stays and a proactive approach to delivering excellence.

Up to £33,000 per annum

Job Type: Permanent | Full-Time

To ensure the professional, efficient, and safe transportation of products across the UK. The role involves regular travel, with the expectation of overnight stays when required.

• Transport machinery and equipment in accordance with operational requirements.
• Work closely with the Transport Manager to meet delivery schedules and customer expectations.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report any issues promptly.
• Clean and prepare machinery for demonstrations and events.
• Support general yard duties as required by the Branch Manager.
• Ensure full compliance with licence and CPC requirements.
• Maintain a professional appearance and represent the company positively at all times.
• Promote and maintain health and safety practices in all areas of work.
• Attend relevant training to remain fully competent in your role.
• Provide support to colleagues as needed across various operational areas.
• Work independently and deliver high-quality results within deadlines.
• Be willing to stay overnight when the schedule requires it.
