We Have Exciting Clerical Opportunities To Join Our South Lanarkshire Health And Social Care Partnership, Performance And Support Services Team, With Clerical Assistant Vacancies Within The Following Offices

  • Newberry Rooney Centre, 100 New Park Street, Hamilton, ML3 0BN
    • Permanent, 17.5 hour post working Monday, Tuesday and alternate Wednesday (08:45 - 16:45, 1 hour for lunch) providing admin support within Social Work’s Centralised Mobile Equipment Team.
  • Cambuslang Local Office, Main Street, Cambuslang, G72 7EX
    • Permanent, 17.5 hour post working Monday, Tuesday and alternate Wednesdays (08:45 - 16:45, 1 hour lunch) Providing admin support within the Local Office Adult and Older Services.
  • South Lanarkshire Children’s Houses
    • Permanent, 20 hour post working Monday to Friday,10am to 2pm. This post is peripatetic, and although you will be based within East Kilbride Local Office, Civic Centre, East Kilbride, G74 1AB
      you will be operating across the six children’s houses within the South Lanarkshire area.

You would be part of a successful, well established administration service, and as a Clerical Assistant, you would undertake a wide variety of administrative duties, which may include providing a front-line reception service. Also data inputting to our Social Work case management system, providing a word processing service, general minute taking and distribution, arranging meetings using the MS Office Outlook facility, maintaining spreadsheets, processing annual archiving, maintaining an inventory of all equipment, answering and fielding phone calls, using Multi Functional Devices, scanning and indexing documents and other general administrative tasks to support our operational staff.

We would welcome applications from people who have an excellent knowledge of IT packages and it’s desirable that you will have experience of working as a receptionist or within an office setting, although required training will be provided.
