The Role
The post holder will be a Registered Nurse who will support the community nursing service in the delivery of the highest quality of health care and will be responsible and accountable for providing skilled nursing interventions as appropriate. The post holder will ensure a person centred approach to care delivery which is safe and effective to ensure and maintain quality strategy.
The post holder will be expected to provide an accessible, appropriate, high quality and effective care service to all age groups in the community, by working in partnership with patients, care providers and other agencies

Whatwe'll need you to bring
- Registered Nurse with valid NMC Registration
- The post holder will be required to demonstrate excellent team working skills with the ability to work using own initiative
- Effective listening, communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with people and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent time management skills
- Working knowledge of basic information technology
- Car Driver
Please note for all vacancies where a driving licence is required this must be a full UK/EU/EEA licence.
It would be great if you also have- Post registration experience
- Experience in health settings relevant to the post e.g. older adults, stroke, orthopaedics, community, treatment rooms
- Experience of multi-disciplinary team working especially community health settings (physical health)
- Relevant post registration knowledge and practical applications
- Aware of single shared assessment proves and joint working with other agencies
- Fixed Term or Secondment for 1 year
- Full time
- 37 hours
Please note this is a fixed term post for a duration of 12 months. Where a post only has temporary funding and an existing member of NHS Lanarkshire staff wishes to apply, this will be treated as a secondment. The employee MUST already have written agreement from their line manager to be released on a secondment before applying for the post.
Locationand Working Pattern
This role will be based in Integrated Community Support Team within Cambuslang Clinic
The working pattern for this role is Monday to Sunday 24/7, 1 full weekend in 4 roster
