Location: Rutherglen/Cambuslang
Hours: 29 hrs per week, permanent
Work Pattern: Working 7 days over 14, including every second weekend, a combination of early shift and back shift, in accordance with a roster (2 weeks early shift and 2 weeks back shift)
Salary / Hourly Rate: £19.96 – £20.53 (additional increments for unsocial hours may apply, consolidated into salary so starting pay may be £20.53 or £21.13 per hour)
ResponsibilitiesProvide a support service to Home Carers working to support vulnerable people living in the community council wide. This includes scheduling and allocation of work, using IT and maintaining a good understanding of IT programmes.
Demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the Organisation, working a roster that includes early shift, back shift and weekends, with additional increments for unsocial hours.
Support ongoing training and development as part of South Lanarkshire Council’s learning programme.
Qualifications and ExperienceHighly motivated, caring, patient, compassionate, adaptable individual who respects the rights of others.
Demonstrated computer literacy and familiarity with IT programmes and applications; good understanding of relevant software.

- Provide an example of a situation where you identified risks for an individual service user, describe what concerned you, why, what your actions were and what the overall outcome was for the service user.
- Please provide details of which IT programs and applications you use / are familiar with. Please describe your level of computer literacy.
