Position: SWRK 5062 - G3 Community Support Co-ordinator (Rutherglen 605444)

Location: Cambuslang/Rutherglen

Hours: 35hrs per week, permanent

Work Pattern: Monday – Thursday 8:45am – 4:45pm, Friday 8:45am – 4:15pm

Salary / Hourly Rate: £42,228 – £43,158

The aim of Social Work Resources is to promote social welfare and provide effective care and support to meet the needs of vulnerable people in South Lanarkshire.

As a Community Support Co‑ordinator you will play a key role in the delivery of community services. You will be responsible for the management of care staff and the delivery of care services, in line with Supporting Your Independence across South Lanarkshire Council. You will manage a team of Home Carers, demonstrate excellent organisational and communication skills, and organise care for service users.

You will assess service users’ needs for care referrals and monitor and review care within agreed timescales. You should have excellent IT skills and be dynamic and creative, able to resolve problems as they arise.

Applicants must hold a qualification that fully meets the South Scottish Social Care (SSSC) Registration Requirements of the post and gain full SSSC registration within 3 months of commencing the post.
