Location: Rutherglen
South Lanarkshire Council is recruiting for a Social Care Assistant in Rutherglen. The role is a permanent, part-time position with shifts across early and late rosters, including weekends. A SVQ in Social Care Level 2/3 or HNC in Social Care is preferred or a commitment to achieve these within six months of starting.
Salary is £15.54–£15.66 per hour, with training provided and a strong emphasis on safeguarding, continuous improvement, and supporting service users’ independence within the team.
